Declaration to customers on Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) as of January 2010

Dear Sirs,

a) Sicovend AG is a distributor of electronic components (predominately passive components).
b) Sicovend AG confirms that we understand our obligations under REACH in our roles either as Distributor or Importer of electronic components.
c) For our suppliers, located within the EU, we are acting as Distributor and therefore they have to fulfil the obligations given by REACH.
d) For our suppliers outside the EU we are acting as Importer with all obligations relevant to us.
e) Sicovend AG does not sell any items containing any substances that are intended to be released at any time. Therefore pre-registration or registration is not required.

f) Sicovend AG is in contact with all of our suppliers (located in the EU and outside of the EU) in order to get proper information
g) Sicovend AG will monitor all further obligations with regards to Annex XIV (the candidate list, which was published on 28^th of October 2008 and amended on 13^th January 2010). Complete knowledge of the presence of these substances - listed in the amended candidate list - in the items we supply is not yet comprehensively available.
h) If the suppliers or our investigations show that any of the items contain a substance from the mentioned candidate list ( 28^th October 2008 and 13^th January 2010) at a concentration exceeding 0.1% (w/w), we will immediately provide all downstream customers with the required infor-mation.
